Fonds consists of a photograph scrapbook from original Appleby student Ford Stuart Strathy, and photographs of Alastair's time as a student at Appleby. Both give a pictorial history of the early decades at Appleby and capture teachers and staff from Vernon Harcourt de Butts Powell, Headmaster John Guest, T.B. Colley, E.W. Whittington, Same Clarke, Mr. Adams and Miss Bird, as well as Appleby students, and the campus.

File consists of records pertaining to the athletics program at Appleby College. It includes permission forms for parents of students to sign, the Junior School Sports Day programme for June 8, 1991, tournament programmes, proposals for different sports teams, Junior School athletic schedule, interhouse sports track and field schedule, correspondence and memos to faculty, coaches and staff, the 1989 varsity hockey team members with birthdates and jersey numbers, updates about different sports teams and how they performed for the season, schedules for different sports teams, rules for cricket and other teams, lists of team members for 1988 1st Football team, 1988 team lists for cricket, softball, cycling and other teams, 1987 Sports programme, 1987 team lists for football, soccer, volleyball, lists of hockey and squash team members for 1980-1981.

File consists of lists of sports teams at Appleby College identifying team members, who reached the Record Board and who earned and were awarded their Colours. Sports included are: basketball, cricket, hockey, football, gymnastics, squash, sailing, soccer, swimming, cross-country, tennis, softball, volleyball, track and field, badminton.

File consists of correspondence between Appleby College and various other cricket teams regarding tournaments, scheduled games, use of facilities and student trips.

Item consists of an oil painting by J.A.M. Bell of the Appleby College cricket team playing out on the main field. Colley House is in the background as is a view of Lake Ontario.

Quarterly 1992_07

Item consists of the July 1992 edition of the Appleby Quarterly magazine. It includes articles about residence space for girls in Colley House as well as plans for the building of Baillie House residence, the ribbon cutting for the new Health Centre and Athletic Therapy Centre, the gala auction, and the end of cricket at Appleby after 80 years.
