Framed playbill of "Our American Cousin"

Item consists of a framed photograph collage playbill for the play "Our American Cousin". A handwritten letter reads: "To Mr. Felix Isman, Feb. 12, 1908, this bill of the play of 'Our American Cousin' which was in progress in the night of the assassination of President Lincoln Abraham at Ford's theatre Washington, D.C., I believe to be genuine. Two sets of programmes were printed on that day. When it became known that the President would positively visit the theatre, another set with Mr. Lincoln's thereon, was issued. Never before had this been done. His visits were unannounced. It was his way. Mr. Ferguson".
