            Item consists of a colour photograph of the retirement celebration of Business Administrator Ian MacMillan. From left to right: Headmaster Guy McLean, the new Business Administrator Christine Nordal, and Ian and Nancy MacMillan. Ian MacMillan is holding a print of Appleby College that he received as a parting gift. This event was described in The Appleby Quarterly (December 1992, vol. 14, no. 3).

            Series consists of textual records compiled by Stafford in relation to his time as a student at Appleby School and include the 1924 and 1930 Prospectus brochure, the admission letter dated July 9, 1924, the Annual Sports Day brochure which lists his dad, W.T. Marlatt as a prize presenter, newspaper clippings about the death of Headmaster Percival Wickens, the retirement of Headmaster Guest and a memorial clipping listing those alumni who had died during the World Wars. The series also includes a copy of the June 1961 Argus which includes a history of the school and a mention that Stafford's uncle (Cecil Marlatt) used to take the students out on his boat.

Note on verso: "A special thanks to Glen Yates '81, owner of the Towne Chev-Olds Geo dealership on Trafalgar Road in Oakville. At the beginning of the school year, Glen donated a 1992 Astra Van to the College to use for transporting students to and from various sports, school and community service events.
