Sub-series consists of newspaper clippings about Appleby College and is divided into decades. It includes articles about Cadets, gymnastics, Sports Day, Closing Day, the Chapel, the death of Sir Edmund Walker - the co-founder of the school (oversized encapsulation), Track and Field, a fire at Appleby during the 1930's, the death of Samuel Clarke, the hanging of the new Canadian flag on campus, 55th anniversary of Appleby College, the retirement of Headmaster Dr. J.A.M. Bell, football, rugby, various guest speakers to the school.

Sub-series also includes an article by Wilder Breckenridge about what it was like at the school when it first opened in 1911; articles about the Diamond Jubilee celebrations and the building campaign including a new hospital and library; the introduction of girls from St. Mildred's Lightbourn School participating in the school plays at Appleby beginning in 1971; and what is like at a private school. Item consists of the June 1920 Argus yearbook. It discusses a large donation for the fundraising of the Memorial Chapel on campus as well as the formation of the Appleby College Old Boys' Association (now the Alumni Association).

File consists of records pertaining to the Annual Games/ Sports Day at Appleby College. The programs also contain the awards and prizes given to during the Annual Prizegiving Ceremony, which was held after the games. These were also known as prize lists.

File also consists of the invitations for attending the annual sports day and prizegiving ceremony. These invitations often list the guest of honour who is presenting the awards to students.

File also consists of a field measurement log book which belonged to David "Digger Smith". There are also final scorebooks/ledger books for each of the events. In the 1980-1988 ledger book are also programmes for the years between 1982 and 1988.
