Note on verso: "Speaking of anniversaries, Michael DesRoches '62 (centre, photo) was officially inducted into the "Appleby College Quarter Century Club" in June. Michael began teaching English at Appleby in 1967, and has since handled - at one time or another - the Alumni, Communications and Development offices. He established the Archives Club, and has since managed to create a substantive documentary of Appleby's history. He was also one of the founding editors of The Appleby Quarterly. Two other members of the staff deserve special recognition for having served the school for 25 years. Gina Stampone (see photo, left) and Coby Nieuwpoort (right)."
