The female staff are (left to right): Miss Lightbourn, the school nurse Miss Mona Niblett, and possibly Miss Rose James.

The female staff are at the far right of the staffing row are (left to right): Miss Chamberlain, Miss Lightbourn, Miss Mona Niblett (the school nurse), [possibly Miss Rose James], [possibly Miss Kathleen Marsden].

The covered rink, which collapsed in January 1945, does not appear to be in the photograph. The flag pole is visible as are several student throwing a football around.
