Item consists of a a 33 1/3 rpm mono sound recording of the Commonwealth Service of Youth at Westminster Abbey on June 7, 1953 for the Coronation of Elizabeth II.
Side one: Introduction by Major F.J. Ney. Fanfare by Trumpeters of the Royal Military School of Music, Kneller Hall. The National Anthem. The Bidding prayer by the Dean of Westminster. 'All People that on Earth do Dwell'. The Thanksgiving by the Precentor.
Side two: Intercession led by the moderator of the Free Church Federal Council. "City of God, How Braod and Far". Excerpts from the sermon by the most Reverend and Right Honourable the Lord Archbishop of Canerbury. Commentary by the Rev. E.H. Patey. 'He who would valiant be'.

Series consists of material related to Appleby's Coronation Choir and contains a travel diary, newspaper clippings, footage that Brad shot using his Brownie camera of choir members onboard the SS Empress of Australia, parts of the Coronation parade on Coronation Day and touring various sites throughout England. Other material includes a Commonwealth Youth Movement pin, record and photographs of the trip.

File consists of a travel diary written by Brad Brown during his trip to England as part of the Appleby College Coronation Choir as well as his trip to the Near East with fellow student Bill Green and his family. He talks about life on the ship during their travel to England, singing and touring various sites in England as well as sightseeing in Beirut, Jerusalem and Barcelona. Brad later wrote an article for the June 1954 Argus Yearbook about his Near east trip. It can be found on page 56.

Item consists of two silent movies taken by Brad Brown during his trip to England as part of the Appleby College Coronation Choir. The first movie includes images of the students onboard the SS Empress of Australia heading toward England. The second video consists of the students in England watching the Coronation parade and visiting sites in England. A third video of students during Sports Day at Appleby is included in the digital version (AV-15).
