Early on there are articles about current students, Board of Governors, alumni. During the War years, The Argus printed letters sent in from alumni fighting overseas as well as producing brief obituaries for these men who died.

With the creation of the Appleby Quarterly in 1968, The Argus became an annual yearbook for current students and covers events happening during that school year.
