The first movie includes images of the students onboard the SS Empress of Australia heading toward England. The second video consists of the students in England watching the Coronation parade and visiting sites in England. A third video of students during Sports Day at Appleby is included in the digital version (AV-15).

Item consists of a black and white photograph of alumni Tim Haines (class of 1963) (far left) and Carl Ansingh (class of 1967) (far right) standing outside the chapel with two vans they donated to Appleby College. Director of Alumni Relations David Smith (class of 1953) (centre left) stands beside Headmaster Guy McLean (centre right) between Tim Haines and Carl Ansingh. Note on verso: "New vans from Old Boys - Appleby College is the proud lessee of two new General Motors vans from two of its Old Boys. Tim Haines '63 (left) and Carl Ansingh '67 (far right), owners of two GM dealerships in Listowel and St. Thomas respectively, presented the vans to Director of Alumni Relations David Smith '53 and Headmaster Guy McLean. The blue vans will primarily be used for transporting boys to and from sports and other School events. The Appleby crest will be painted on to each van shortly." This event was described in The Appleby Quarterly (December 1989, vol. 12, no. 2).

Item consists of a colour photograph of Glen Yates (class of 1981) donating a van to Appleby College. Note on verso: "A special thanks to Glen Yates '81, owner of the Towne Chev-Olds Geo dealership on Trafalgar Road in Oakville. At the beginning of the school year, Glen donated a 1992 Astra Van to the College to use for transporting students to and from various sports, school and community service events. Shown with Glen is Headmaster Guy McLean." This event was described in The Appleby Quarterly (April 1992, vol. 14, no. 1).
