Item consists of a black and white photograph of Sean O'Meara dressed in costume at French teacher Judy Warrington's grade five class Pow wow. Note on verso: "Campfire burns at Pow Wow - Members of Judy Warrington's grade five class recently enjoyed an afternoon of Indian culture, complete with make-believe campfire and a sample of native cooking. The boys, dressed in costumes of their own creation, recited poetry from memory, exchanged Christmas gifts they had made in art class, and sang several chants with accompaniment by piano player Matthew Sibbald and drummer Sean O'Meara. Though Indian Chief Jimmy Dick had been scheduled to attend, last-minute travel difficulties forced him to cancel his visit." This event was described in The Whippet (January/February 1990).
