Bill Russell is playing a guitar, and Anne Lederman is singing. Note on verso: "Though many of the planned activities of the Junior School's Winter Carnival were rained out, the boys still found time to enjoy a music visit from Louisiana singer and pianist Bill Russell and French-Canadian fiddler Anne Lederman. The audience was encouraged to sing along, and at one point were up on their feet dancing with Russell. Bon Homme (alias Junior School Director Michael Nightingale) also joined in the Mardi Gras festivities and a wonderful afternoon was had by all." This event is described in The Whippet (January/February 1990) and (March 1990, no. 2).
