Note on verso: "New vans from Old Boys - Appleby College is the proud lessee of two new General Motors vans from two of its Old Boys. Tim Haines '63 (left) and Carl Ansingh '67 (far right), owners of two GM dealerships in Listowel and St. Thomas respectively, presented the vans to Director of Alumni Relations David Smith '53 and Headmaster Guy McLean. The blue vans will primarily be used for transporting boys to and from sports and other School events. The Appleby crest will be painted on to each van shortly."
