Series consists of a scrapbook of publicity articles, programs, and letters, as well as performance script, pins, background information and notes, schedules, letterhead and correspondence of the Junior School The Black Magic Mime Troupe. This troupe was formed in 1981 and ended in 1988.

File consists of newspaper clippings about books written and published by David Boyd, school performances for plays written by Boyd, articles about awards David Boyd has received, including the Governor General's Literary Award. There are also articles about Appleby College and the e.School providing internet access and computers for students. There also includes advertising and notices from publishers for some of the books that David has written. The file also includes a handwritten letter from Canadian artist Alex Colville thanking David for the book he sent. File also includes articles about the Black Magic Mime Group and the 2005 school production of Caesar.
File also includes material related to the submission for The Prime Minister's award for teaching excellence, which David won in 1998.
File also includes a conference program "Towards the Technology-integrated School" 1998 in which David presented.
