Item consists of a scrapbook compiled by Rod's parents containing newspaper clippings highlighting the publicity of the Appleby College Coronation Choir. There is also one photograph of Rod in his choir robe singing.

Series consists of textual records compiled by Stafford in relation to his time as a student at Appleby School and include the 1924 and 1930 Prospectus brochure, the admission letter dated July 9, 1924, the Annual Sports Day brochure which lists his dad, W.T. Marlatt as a prize presenter, newspaper clippings about the death of Headmaster Percival Wickens, the retirement of Headmaster Guest and a memorial clipping listing those alumni who had died during the World Wars. The series also includes a copy of the June 1961 Argus which includes a history of the school and a mention that Stafford's uncle (Cecil Marlatt) used to take the students out on his boat.
