Item consists of a black and white photograph of Mary Kavanagh with her daughter, Mary Byerley (left), relatives of alumnus Aubrey DeVere Turquand, who died in World War I standing with Director of Alumni David Smith (class of 1953) (right). In the centre, a plaque is featured on the Memorial Classroom Building to honour those from Appleby College who died in World War I. This event was described in The Appleby Quarterly (April 1994, vol. 15, no. 3).

Item consists of articles about the Round Square conference, a look back at Appleby Athletics, an interview with Katherine 'Kitty' Stevens - daughter of John Guest, an interview with Appleby's Director of Finance - Young Nak Chu, an interview with Alumni Jack Langelaan '88. It also includes an article about Alumni Brianne Jenner '09 who was on Team Canada Women's Hockey Team. There is also an article about various Alumni who have become teachers including Michael DesRoches '62. It also includes an article about Appleby's historic link to Town of Oakville founder Colonel William Chisholm.
