The year vs. year round-robin has great potential for the future! Note on verso: "Old Boys' Spring Sports Day from Digger's Diary - Despite several evenings of advance practise, the Old Boys' softball team just couldn't snatch a victory. They eventually lost to the current team, 14-6." This event is described in The Appleby Quarterly (July 1990, vol. 12, no. 4).
