Item consists of a black and white panoramic photograph of the students attending Appleby College for the 1931 school year. A few of the students have the old Appleby School crest on their blazers. A few of the school buildings can be seen in the background including the Chapel.
File consists of records pertaining to the Appleby School Travel Club and specifically the trip taken to Europe in 1932. The group travelled to Great Britain, France, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland between July and August 1932. On the tour they went to many World War 1 memorials and battle sites. The file includes the programme, itinerary and a published booklet by John H. Osler describing the trip. The booklet is called Seeing Europe: An account of the Appleby School Travel Club Tour of 1932.

Given in memory of William "Billy" Richard Wright who was the second Appleby Old Boy to give his life during the Great War. Billy was an original student at Appleby and Head Prefect in his final year. He died on May 13, 1917 at the age of 19.

Turquand, AubreySeries consists of a scrapbook from original Appleby College student Ford Stuart Strathy. It captures his time at Appleby, including family vacation in Ireland and Niagara Falls. The scrapbook contains photographs of Appleby students Raymond Massey and Aubrey de Vere Arnold Turquand, and teacher Vernon Harcourt de Butts Powell. Ford was killed in action on 17 August 1917 during World War One (WWI).
