The article provides information on the Founder, Sir Edmund Walker, the founding and history of Appleby School, and describes what life is like to live, work and play at Appleby School. It includes several photographs of the campus buildings, the school grounds, the Cadet Corps, and The Chapel. It includes a history of Powell's House and its namesake, Vernon Harcourt de Butts Powell, including his military history. It also includes brief histories on the construction of The Chapel, the Gymnasium and the Ice rink.
