File consists of records pertaining to Aubrey de V.A. Turquand's time at Appleby School as a student as well as his letters to Mr. Guest after he had enlisted to participate in World War 1 (one). It also includes letters after his death, a subscription list for the Turquand Tablet and information about the tablet, his application form for Appleby School and correspondence regarding fees and payment for his time at Appleby School.

File also includes a silk embroidered Christmas postcard (December 1915) from Aubrey Turquand to Mrs. Guest.

File consists of a travel diary written by Brad Brown during his trip to England as part of the Appleby College Coronation Choir as well as his trip to the Near East with fellow student Bill Green and his family. He talks about life on the ship during their travel to England, singing and touring various sites in England as well as sightseeing in Beirut, Jerusalem and Barcelona. Brad later wrote an article for the June 1954 Argus Yearbook about his Near east trip. It can be found on page 56.

File consists of records pertaining to the Appleby School Travel Club and specifically the trip taken to Europe in 1932. The group travelled to Great Britain, France, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland between July and August 1932. On the tour they went to many World War 1 memorials and battle sites. The file includes the programme, itinerary and a published booklet by John H. Osler describing the trip. The booklet is called Seeing Europe: An account of the Appleby School Travel Club Tour of 1932.

File consists of The Whippet newsletter (issue nos. 1-66) created originally for parents to provide a summarized version of newsworthy events happening around the school. In September 2000, the newsletter changed its name and became 'Appleby College News'.

Boyd; poems written by students; Junior School sports including soccer, cross country, announcement regarding the new Northern Campus; the performance of The Mikado; the return of Mr. F. Richardson; a short biography of Mr. A. Turner; various club events including the Rocket Club, the Drama Club and the Model Club; updates on the library; Halloween updates; student poems; cricket; squash; senior boys trip to Soviet Union and interhouse 'Tribal' hockey; and the dramatic production of 'Lord of the Flies'.

File consists of the school newsletter The Chattaway's Newsletter as well as a brochure about Chattaway's Junior School residence.

File consists of the school yearbook, known as The Argus. First printed in 1916, it was both an alumni newsletter as well as yearbook and was printed multiple times a year, where money allowed. Early on there are articles about current students, Board of Governors, alumni. During the War years, The Argus printed letters sent in from alumni fighting overseas as well as producing brief obituaries for these men who died.

With the creation of the Appleby Quarterly in 1968, The Argus became an annual yearbook for current students and covers events happening during that school year.
